Cutting It Fine?

On the 23 February at 12-27 hours, the Windsor crew were called to assist at a fire within a furniture shop at Villiers Road, Slough. (Incident Number 11407).
This severe blaze required appliances for several hours from Windsor, Slough (x2), Maidenhead and Wokingham, plus an Incident Control appliance.

No Room at the Inn?

On the 02 February a call was received to an automatic fire alarm operating at the Slough Holiday Inn, Church Street, Chalvey. (Incident Number 10856)
This turned out to be a fire upon an upper floor requiring the attendance of 4 pumping appliances and a Control Unit.
