In July 2007 the  newly formed Royal Berkshire Fire Authority voted to (unquestionably)accept Brigade plans to close Windsor Fire Station at night.

At 02-21 hours on 12th July, the Windsor NIGHT crew was first in attendance at Victoria House, Albert Road, Old Windsor.
