Sense and Sensibility
November 27th, 2007 · No Comments · Uncategorized
When Firefighters enter a burning building wearing Breathing Apparatus they lose sensory perception: They cannot see through the poisonous, dense smoke, they cannot hear audibly as the smoke smothers sound too, they cannot smell since they have a mask on, they cannot taste and they cannot feel properly since they wear thick gloves.
The Four Warwickshire Firefighters [...]

My colleagues upon Green Watch have informed me of an incident which they attended on the NIGHT Watch on Friday 23 November.
Windsor Firefighters were first on the scene, but unfortunately due to the timescales in which the fire had been burning, a man lost his life. Bracknell wholetime and retained crews were also on the [...]

My formal complaint about Opinion Research Services…
As a result of practices observed during the ‘public consultation’ period, I wrote to the seemingly professional body to which ORS belong –the Market Research Society. As you will observe from my e-mail to the Director General (dated 10 October 2007), they were incompetent, evasive and ineffective during the [...]
